Directors will nominate deserving students before Friday, November 30, 2018. Nominated students are then considered for participation based on instrumentation and the maximum number of students that can be effectively served by the event.

Directors will receive electronic notification of selected students, chair audition materials, and an invoice reflecting the participation fees ($70.00 per student). Fee assessments are due on or before January 10, 2019. This assessment covers individual awards and certificates, lunch and dinner on Friday and the awards banquet on Saturday. Students will audition for chair placement.

Auditions for chair placement will be held Thursday evening (6:30-9:00). The chair audition for wind players will consist of scales and sight reading. The Percussion placement will include rudiments, a scale and sightreading. Specifics for each instrument will be included in the acceptance notification.
